Cow Comfort

Last week was our final DEW Club event of 2020!

It was a great farm walk and we were lucky to have Nick Bell as our guest speaker.

We assessed the farm's cow tracks, cubicles, cow flow and much more!

There was also an interactive discussion on causes of lameness related to housing and the environment.

The event was kindly hosted by the Windel Family at Whitehouse Farm.

Thankfully we had our Drove hats on hand to keep everyone warm and hopefully all the members are looking forward to the next meeting in 2020!
