rove Beef Club met for their final meeting of 2019 on Suckler Cow Nutrition this week.

Ella and Emily talked to the group about the importance of body condition scoring, forage analysis and metabolic profiling.

They also discussed the feed requirements of the different stages of production and possible ration options for these groups of cows.

Then everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a walk around our host’s farm to find out more about how they feed their herd with some practicals on body condition scoring and colostrum management in the beef herd.
