A comprehensive approach to healthy and productive herds
Professional veterinary service across four counties, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Following last nights announcement by the Prime Minister, we would like to update our clients regarding the ongoing provision of Farm Veterinary Services by the practice. We are busy and hard at work providing veterinary support to our clients, in order to maintain animal health and welfare standards & to ensure that the food production chain continues unaffected.
Currently we are able to provide visits for herd fertility work, sick orinjured animals, emergencies and all statutory OV Work and disease surveillance including TB testing, which APHA have advised should continue uninterrupted as far as possible. We will endeavour to keep you all as up to date as possible in this fast moving situation. Please ring to discuss your requirements or concerns regarding whether a vet visit to your farm is necessary.
Note - we will be unable to complete health planning and performance review visits, non-essential work and also the free TBAS TB advisory visits for the foreseeable future, unless we are able to do so remotely. Our vet tech services are all currently suspended until further notice.
Please strictly abide by the recommended social distancing, hygiene and biosecurity guidelines whenever a member of the vet team is on farm or you are calling in to collect drugs from the office. If anyone on farm is ill & may have virus symptoms please inform us immediately if a visit is planned or drugs need to be collected so that we can assess the situation and make alternative arrangements where possible. The health and safety of both our clients and our staff are paramount at all times.
Please note that all of our branch surgeries are now closed and we are operating on a skeleton staff via the main Farm Office only, please bear with us & give as much notice as possible for drug orders! All of the Vet Team are continuing to work remotely from home & out of their vehicles. Please continue to ring the normal office number for all your requirements - 01793 501499
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times

We have used Drove Farm Vets for many years at Kingston Hill Farm for our 580 cow Autumn calving dairy herd. We are fortunate to have such a proactive, committed and supportive practice in our locality and have received excellent service from them. They seek to work proactively with us to constantly improve animal health and are a valued part of our wider support team. I would have no hesitation in recommending them based on our experience.
